Rust control project for a townhouse complex – gates, car ports and metal structures

Our client had rusted gates and car ports. The rust damage ranged from heavy rust to light rust. The structures required rust removal, a metal primer and rust protection and top coat to be applied. A generic top coat was applied for aesthetic purposes. Our client required five years minimum rust protection.

Gates – remove rust, apply metal primer and rust protection (RostFort ST) and top coat paint. RostPrep was applied to remove the rust. RostFort ST was used as a metal primer and rust protection. A black enamel top coat was applied.

Car ports – remove rust, apply metal primer and rust protection (RostFort ST) and top coat paint. RostPrep was applied to remove the rust. RostFort ST was used as a metal primer and rust protection. A brown enamel top coat was applied.

Other metal structures – remove rust, apply metal primer and rust protection (RostFort ST) and top coat paint. RostPrep was applied to remove the rust. RostFort ST was used as a metal primer and rust protection. A grey enamel top coat was applied.
